NCCR Pinion Bottom Bracket Adapter 4mm

To be clear, the Pinion Gearbox is a great product and we use it in all our NCCR bikes, either Cargo -the Packoped, or now in the Gyttja Overland. As we use a Pinion bridge in all our bikes as standard, we developed the Pinion adapters to convert a Pinion (not MGU) bike to a conventional ISO threaded bottom bracket , for customers prefer other solutions. As a spin off, we offer now the conversion adapter also as an aftermarket part. Manufactured with 4mm laser cut high grade SSAB Strenx steel sheet metal side plates, the adapter allows to mount an conventional bottom bracket. We offer a open skeleton or a closed version. For heavy usage, like on commercial Cargobikes, where weight is not a factor, we recommend the closed version. Weight is 600 gram on the closed, and 340 gram for the open one. (73mm Bottom Bracket, raw steel) Available with 73 or 100mm Bottom bracket, all BSA / ISO (right-left) threaded (68mm only available for the lightweight). Choose between raw steel (requires corrosion protection!), powder coating or Cerakote. Color is always black, custom color available on demand. The Cut-outs on the open skeleton version can be filled with 3D printed inserts, including a lid, what allow to use the internal as additional little storage space. The print file is available on request. We offer also a Lightweight Travel, 2,5mm side plate skeleton version, what is 250 gram in weight. The Bottom bracket is ready machined to install the bearings. Different geometry (bottom bracket position) is available on demand (extra costs occur).
